Women’s Basketball Gets First ACC Win in Convincing Victory over North Carolina

BC 77- UNC 64

It appears that Coach Erik Johnson and the Eagles found a winning formula this afternoon as they picked up their first ACC win of the season against North Carolina. BC put up a diversified offensive attack, with early drives to the hoop opening up great looks at the 3-point line in the second half. They also were able to take care of the basketball, and their tough defense provoked 10 UNC turnovers. Despite a significant size advantage for the Tar Heels, the Eagles kept the rebounding battle close, grabbing 32 to UNC’s 37.

UNC guard Paris Kea was very effective early, putting up 11 first half points on 5-for-8 shooting.
