NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Boston College women's tennis team competed at the 2018 ITA Regional Championships over the weekend, which were hosted by Yale. Five of the Eagles' six singles players registered a victory, while doubles squad Kylie Wilcox and Jackie Urbinati advanced to the quarterfinals.
No. 2 overall seed Yufei Long posted a convincing victory over Yale's Amy Yang 6-3, 6-1 but lost to conference rival Dina Hegab of Syracuse 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 in round two. The 15-seed Urbinati defeated Oceane Garibal of St. John's 6-3, 7-5 in her first match before falling to Princeton's Clare McKee 6-0, 4-6, 6-3.
