Former Boston College Women’s Hockey forward Savannah Norcross announced last night on social media that she will be leaving the Heights to join the Minnesota Golden Gophers women’s hockey program.
Norcross, a junior this past year, was a particularly important part of the Boston College roster the last two seasons. She earned BCI’s Female Most Improved Player award this summer after putting up steady improvement over her three years at BC. The Lynn, MA native went from a 3-0—0 line her freshman year, 11-6—17 in 36 games as a sophomore, and then tied for the team lead in points with a 12-9—21 line in her 20 game COVID-shortened junior season.
