RALEIGH, N.C. – The Boston College rowing team got the Lake Wheeler Invitational underway on Friday with the first day of competition on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.
BC took on Penn, University of Central Florida, Miami, North Carolina and Bucknell in the first round before racing against Temple, Oklahoma, Duke and Miami in the evening.
The Varsity Four boat had a strong showing in the first BC race of the day, finishing third to Penn and Central Florida while topping North Carolina, Bucknell and Miami, and then went on to take fourth in its second-round race.
