WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Boston College freshman goaltender Maddy McArthur has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week and sophomore forward Daryl Watts has been named the Player of the Week after their performances this past weekend.
McArthur totaled 28 saves for a .933 save percentage and 1.61 goals against average in BC's season-ending overtime NCAA quarterfinal loss at No. 4 Clarkson on Saturday. McArthur finishes her rookie season tied for the league lead in wins with 23, a number which also ranks tied for third in the nation and first among all freshman goaltenders.
