CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A pair of Boston College women's hockey players earned three Hockey East weekly awards on Monday, capping a record-setting week for the duo.
Freshman forward Daryl Watts was tabbed both the Warrior Player of the Week and the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week after leading all Division I players nationally in points last week and setting two more Hockey East records. Senior goalkeeper Katie Burt earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week award after a standout week in goal and closing her record-setting conference career.
In three games last week, Boston College went a perfect 3-0-0 and finishing the season atop the conference standings.
