WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 11 Boston College women's soccer team fell to Wake Forest, 2-1, in overtime at Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Thursday night.
BC is now 10-1-0 and 2-1 in the ACC, while Wake Forest is now 6-3-1 and 2-1 in the conference. The Eagles will play at Clemson on Sunday at 1. The Demon Deacons will travel to Virginia on Sunday.
Wake Forest's Estelle Laurier scored in the 97th minute to end the Eagles 10-game win streak.
The Eagles opened the scoring when red-shirt junior Kayla Jennings one-timed a corner kick from sophomore Sam Coffey from five yards in the 12th minute.
