GREENSBORO, N.C. - Boston College women's basketball senior guard was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team on Tuesday, as the ACC announced its postseason awards.
Waggoner is the first Eagle since Marnelle Garraud (2020-21) to land on the all-defensive team and the third in school history to be named All-ACC Defense. It's the first postseason conference honor for the guard as well.
The Nashville, Tenn. is second in the ACC with a team and career-high 92 steals. She is also second in the ACC in steals per game at 3.02. Waggoner tallied multiple swipes in 26 of 31 games.
