CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Two Boston College women's tennis players were recognized for their stellar seasons by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association this week.
Senior Jessica Wacnik was named ITA Senior Player of the Year for the Northeast Region, while freshman Asiya Dair was dubbed the ITA Rookie of the Year in the Northeast Region.
Wacnik played both first singles and first doubles for the Eagles, going 11-13 in singles and 16-6 in doubles. Wacnik is ranked 75th nationally and earned Third Team All-ACC honors, her second all-conference nod.
Dair was a regular performer in singles and doubles.
