CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women’s hockey team will start the season ranked No. 2 in the country, according to the USCHO.com 2015-16 Preseason Women’s Poll released today.
The Eagles picked up 128 points to finished second behind defending national champion Minnesota, who claimed all 15 first-place votes for 150 points. Wisconsin (124 points), Harvard (101 points) and Clarkson (84 points) round out the top five.
North Dakota (64), Quinnipiac (56), Boston University (49), Bemidji State (25) and Cornell (18) complete the top 10.
