GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Boston College women's basketball team fell to Virginia, 77-61, in the first round of the ACC Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum on Wednesday afternoon.
The Eagles finished the season with a 14-16 record, while the Cavaliers improved to 12-18. Virginia will play No. 5 Syracuse on Thursday at 11 a.m.
BC was led by junior forward Emma Guy, who shot 9-for-13 from the floor and finished with a team-high 18 points. She also had seven boards and a block in the game. Sophomore Milan Bolden-Morris added 12 points, while freshman Marnelle Garraud netted 11 points along with three assists.
