CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College fell to Virginia, 69-52, at Conte Forum on Sunday afternoon. BC is now 9-7 overall and 2-3 in the ACC. Virginia improved to 7-9 and 2-3 in the conference.
BC shot just 34 percent from the floor, while Virginia went 29-for-54 (53.7%) from the field and edged the Eagles on the boards, 36-32.
The Eagles were led by senior Emma Guy with 23 points while sophomore Taylor Soule added 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season.
Virginia was led by senior Jocelyn Willoughby with 23 points and eight rebounds while Shemera Williams 17 points.
