It was a game defined by big plays, and in the end, Boston College made just a few more than Maryland did, hanging on for a 36-30 win. BC had some trickery and some great explosiveness on offense in the first half, but as the attack sputtered after halftime, the defense stepped up with gigantic plays to deliver the win.
