NEWTON, Mass. – Senior captain Cara Urbank's career-best six goals paced the No. 5 Boston College women's lacrosse team to a 15-12 win over Vanderbilt on Sunday at the Newton Lacrosse Complex. Freshman Hollie Schleicher recorded her first collegiate points on two goals while sophomore Jenn Medjid tallied the third hat trick of her career. Sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Hall put up 11 saves to hold off the Commodores' offense en route to the win.
The Commodores got on the board first with a goal from Bri Gross, but the Eagles quickly answered back as Urbank and Annie Walsh combined for three straight scores.
