Last month word came out that 2018 Patty Kazmaier Award winner and Boston College rising junior Daryl Watts was in the transfer portal and had signaled her intent to transfer from the Heights. Today, sources confirmed to BC Interruption that Watts will be transferring to the WCHA and the defending NCAA champions Wisconsin Badgers for her final two years of NCAA eligibility.
Daryl was one of the most talented players to come through the Heights, as evidenced by the fact that she was the first freshman (or sophomore) to ever win the Patty Kazmaier Award, given to the top player in women’s college hockey.
