AMESBURY, Mass. – A trio of Boston College women's hockey players have earned Hockey East weekly awards, as announced Monday by the league. Alexie Guay was named the Hockey East Defender of the Week, Abigail Levy earned Hockey East Goaltender of the Week and Abby Newhook was tabbed the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week.
Guay racked up six points on two goals and four assists in the three-win week for the Eagles. The Magog, Quebec native scored two goals in BC's 3-1 win over No. 3 Northeastern in the Beanpot Tournament semifinal round.
