Top-Ranked Eagles Power Past UConn 4-2 in Storrs

STORRS, Conn. – Top-ranked Boston College rebounded from a frustrating shootout loss on Friday with a 4-2 road victory over UConn in Hockey East action on Saturday at the Freitas Ice Forum to finish the weekend with four points.

The Eagles improved to 9-2-1 through 12 games for the top points percentage (.750) in the league. The Huskies fell to 5-6-2 and suffered just their second loss in the last seven games.

BC's three goal scorers from Friday night's meeting at Kelley Rink lit the lamp again on Saturday. Rookie Harrison Roy opened the scoring in the first period, while linemate Casey Carreau posted his second straight multi-point game with an assist and a goal that put the Eagles ahead for good in the third.
