The Bruins announced today that they have re-signed Tommy Cross, inking him to a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000 at the NHL level. This will be Cross’s 6th season with the Bruins organization (7th if you count the 2 games he played after graduating from BC in 2012). Cross split his first season between the AHL and ECHL before spending 2 full seasons in Providence. He was named captain of the PBruins for the 2015-16 season and has retained that title. Over the past 2 seasons he has played 4 games for the Boston Bruins, scoring 1 goal and recording an assist.
