CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- By most accounts, Boston College's win over No. 20 Clemson shouldn't have happened. The metrics, analytics, and numbers used by prognosticators and analysts all pointed to a decisive win by the visiting Tigers. While the numbers didn't support a BC win, but when the sun rose on Wednesday, the aftermath of the Eagles' gritty and downright dominant performance cut through the frost on the windows of the New England winter morning. For the second time this season, the Eagles outfoxed and outflanked, outplayed and outcoached a nationally ranked opponent. Clemson entered Conte Forum in sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference, with 10 wins in 11 tries in league play.
