COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boston College women's hockey player Cayla Barnes along with Alex Carpenter '16, and Megan Keller '19 have been named to the U.S. National Team roster that will compete at the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's World Championships in Halifax and Truro, Nova Scotia. All three Eagles were also named to the original World Championships roster announced in March, prior to the posponment of the tournament.
Barnes, Carpenter and Keller were all members the U.S. squad that won a fifth-consecutive gold medal at the most recent edition of the tournament, the 2019 IIHF World Championships in Finland.
