BOSTON - The rivalry between Boston College and Boston University hit the ice again on Friday, July 14, for the Third Annual Comm Ave Charity Classic. The longtime rivals faced off in front of a great crowd of 2,700 strong at Walter Brown Arena on Boston University's campus.
The event raised a record $64,481, with all proceeds benefiting Compassionate Care ALS, in honor of Ron Perryman, Pete Frates, Dick Kelley and all those affects by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). In addition to Compassionate Care ALS, the Travis Roy Foundation was also a part of the event and helped out greatly in all areas of set up.
