Boston College fans would be forgiven for being on the edge of their seats during Friday evening’s ACC semifinal.
In a wild back-and-forth game at Alumni Stadium, the Boston College Eagles outlasted the No. 4 seeded Syracuse Orange 14-13 to set up a date in the ACC championship Saturday.
The Eagles were down 13-10 late in the second half, before the Eagles scored four unanswered goals, culminating in a Taylor Walker goal with 17 seconds left in the game to give the Eagles the win.
Walker’s goal was her third of the game, completing a much-needed hat trick for the senior.
