SYRACUSE, New York – Despite a career-day from sophomore Taylor Ortlepp who finished with 28 points along with seven three-pointers, Boston College fell to ACC foe, Syracuse, 69-63, on Sunday night at the Carrier Dome.
BC opened the game cold as the Eagles were down 19-11 after the first quarter. The second quarter Boston College stormed back and scored 19 points while holding Syracuse to 13 points. BC was down by just two, 32-30, at the half after shooting 47 percent in the second quarter.
The second half Boston College kept pace with the Orange behind six second half three-pointer from Ortlepp.
