CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College shut out Hartford 1-0 to on Monday night at the Newton Soccer Complex to remain unbeaten on its home stand. BC held nearly two third's of the possession and improved to 2-1-0 on the year, while the Hawks dropped to 0-3-1.
Christian Garner stopped the only two Hartford shots he faced for his first shutout of the season.
The Eagles wasted no time and opened the scoring through Michael Suski in the eighth minute. Suski brought down a long, aerial pass from freshman Diego Ochoa and buried a shot into the upper left corner from the top of the 18-yard box.
