It had the feel of an ugly and forgettable win against a bad team, until it wasn’t. Until 56 seconds remained, and Deondre Francois lofted a deep pass to Tamorrian Terry, who beat Brandon Sebastian in single coverage with no help over the top, and ran it in for a 74 yard go-ahead touchdown reception. At this point, it became one of the most frustrating Boston College losses in recent memory.
The game was far from pretty throughout, particularly in the first half, as the offense was anemic for a second consecutive week. BC mustered only 150 yards and 7 points through two quarters.
