BRIGHTON, Mass. – Senior pitcher CC Cook threw her second career complete game and fanned a career-best 11 but it was not enough as Stony Brook defeated Boston College 3-0 in game two of a doubleheader Sunday at Harrington Athletics Village.
The Seawolves moved to 9-5 with the two wins while BC fell to 5-10.
In game one, Stony Brook starting pitcher Dawn Bodrug held Boston College to one run on six hits and struck out 12 as the Seawolves defeated the Eagles 4-1.
Junior catcher Gianna Boccagno gave the Eagles an early 1-0 lead with her third home run of the season.
