Gianna Boccagno launched a solo homer for the Eagles
BRIGHTON, Mass. – Stony Brook starting pitcher Dawn Bodrug held Boston College to one run on six hits and struck out 12 as the Seawolves defeated the Eagles 4-1 in game one of a doubleheader Sunday at Harrington Athletics Village.
The win moved Stony Brook to 8-5 while BC dropped to 5-9.
Junior catcher Gianna Boccagno gave the Eagles an early 1-0 lead with her third home run of the season.
