CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College head football coach Jeff Hafley announced the hiring of Steve Shimko as tight ends coach. Shimko comes to the Heights after spending two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks as assistant quarterbacks coach.
"Steve's background as a college offensive coordinator and NFL coach brings terrific experience and expertise to our coaching staff," said Hafley. "He is a very positive, energetic and detailed teacher of the game. We are thrilled to welcome Steve to the Heights."
The New Jersey native helped tutor Russell Wilson as he was named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-NFL team for the first time in 2019.
