After Boston College confirmed an outbreak of possible E. Coli cases linked to the Cleveland Circle Chipotle that sickened 8-10 basketball players, there was some serious doubt over whether tomorrow night's game at Providence could be played, with ESPN's Andy Katz saying the game was in doubt.
According to a source on the BC basketball staff, things now "seem to be headed in the right direction" with a few players no longer showing symptoms. The source said that the plan is "to practice today and travel to Providence on Wednesday."
The Eagles had to cancel practice yesterday as 10 players were too sick to practice and an 11th, Eli Carter, was nursing an ankle injury.
