Boston College senior Taylor Soule was named one of 20 players for the 2021-2022 Cheryl Miller Award. Named after the three-time Naismith Player of the Year and Class of 1995 Hall of Famer, the annual award in its fourth year recognizes the top small forwards in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. A national committee of top college basketball personnel determined the watch list of 20 candidates.
Soule is named to the list for the second straight season after averaging a career-high 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
She finished 12th in the ACC in rebounding and 12th in the ACC in field goal percentage while leading the team in points scored (299), free throws made (76), offensive, defensive, and total rebounds (68-65-133), and minutes (599).
