RALEIGH, N.C. – The Boston College softball team secured a series sweep of NC State as it defeated the Wolfpack, 5-3, in nine innings behind three RBIs off the bat of senior Chloe Sharabba, to earn its first extra-inning victory of the year and its 10 straight win. The Eagles have now tied the all-time consecutive win record that was set back in 1995.
Both teams remained scoreless through four innings. NC State struck first with one run in the fifth inning, but a home run by senior Chloe Sharabba in the sixth tied the score.
