CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse punched its ticket to the NCAA Semifinals with a 14-9 victory over Michigan at the Newton Lacrosse Field.
The Eagles advanced to championship weekend for the seventh straight season and improved to 18-3. Boston College will face Syracuse next Friday, May 24 for a seventh consecutive appearance in the NCAA championship.
BC's defense was on full display, causing nine of Michigan's 13 turnovers, and won the draw battle 15-12. Andrea Reynolds led the team with five draw controls and added a goal.
Shea Baker posted a career-high three caused turnovers with five ground balls.
