BRIGHTON, Mass. — Boston College Baseball (17-12, 6-8) captured the single-game upset win over the No. 14 Florida State Seminoles (25-5, 6-5), walking off game two of the weekend series in the eleventh inning on Saturday afternoon.
After Eric Schroeder (Ridgewood, N.J.) put up his third straight scoreless inning of relief, the Eagles sent the top of their lineup to the plate in the bottom of the eleventh with the game and series on the line. With one down, Cameron Leary (Bethpage, N.Y.) stepped into the batters box, one day after hitting his tenth home run of the season in the series opener.
