The Boston College lacrosse team picked up another win today in an extremely evenly matched game against Duke. The Eagles are now 7-1 overall, with their only defeat coming to #1 UNC.
Duke jumped out to an early 1-0 lead early in today’s game, but Cara Urbank tied things up just a minute later. The teams continued to trade goals throughout the first, and Duke took a 9-8 lead into halftime despite getting outshot 20-13. Charlotte North scored 4 of BC’s first half goals after a quiet outing against Louisville last Sunday.
Jenn Medjid and Cara Urbank started out the second half strong for the Eagles, scoring 2 goals each and giving BC a 12-9 lead.
