Second Half Comeback Stalls at Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Despite battling back from a 19-point deficit to take a late second half lead, Boston College dropped a 69-59 at the Dome on Wednesday night.

The Eagles began the night cold offensively, trailing 8-0 less than two minutes into the game. The Orange capitalized on BC turnovers, building a 19-point advantage - 28-9 - with 3:54 to play in the opening frame. Boston College closed the half on a 10-2 push, including eight straight capped by a Mason Madsen 3-pointer, making it 32-22 at the break.

In the second half, Syracuse scored the first five points, extending it to 37-22 with 18:02 left to play.
