After lots of rumors that Brad Bates would be leaving BC for San Diego State and a denial from Bates himself, SDSU has named John David Wicker as their new AD. Wicker was the Senior Associate AD at SDSU from 2011-2015 and has spent the last year as the Senior Associate AD of Operations at Georgia Tech.
Wicker's hiring puts an end to the speculation that Brad Bates would be leaving the Heights for San Diego. Bates is in the final year of his contract and the general consensus is that he will not return to Boston College.
