Sam Apuzzo just graduated, but I think we can all acknowledge that she is one of the best athletes to ever compete for Boston College. For the second year in a row, she is BCI’s Female Player of the Year, this year beating out teammate Kenzie Kent, the only other player nominated, to earn the title.
Apuzzo led the Eagles and the NCAA with 94 goals this season, and was second on the team and in the NCAA (behind Kent) with 124 points. She led the team with 35 forced turnovers, and was second on the roster with 40 ground balls.
