CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Former Tewaaraton Award winner Sam Apuzzo '19 has been elevated to a full-time assistant coach on the Boston College lacrosse coaching staff.
Apuzzo becomes the assistant coach following the departure of Kayla Treanor, who is now the head coach at Syracuse. Apuzzo spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant on BC's staff.
A native of West Babylon, N.Y., Apuzzo will lead an offensive unit that was fifth in the country in scoring offense last season. As a graduate assistant, she led one of the best draw unit's in the country, who was fourth in the nation with 17.
