Running Game Paves Way to 37-31 Victory Over Syracuse

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Eagles defeated the Syracuse Orange 37-31 on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium in front of a sellout crowd.

The Eagles improved to 5-4 (2-3 ACC), while the Orange fell to 6-3 (3-3 ACC).

The Eagles excelled in the running game, compiling 313 yards throughout the afternoon on 6.1 yards per carry. Kye Robichaux led the way for BC, finishing with a career-high 198 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan McDonald ran for a career-high 133 yards, including a 13-yard touchdown.

Lewis Bond caught the first passing touchdown for the Eagles, taking a nine-yard pass from Thomas Castellanos into the endzone.
