DURHAM, N.H. – Freshman Gaby Roy scored four goals while Savannah Norcross had three assists as the Boston College women's hockey team claimed a 6-2 season-opening win over New Hampshjre on Friday at the Whittemore Center.
Including Roy and Norcross, 10 different Eagles had points on the night, including Kelly Browne and Hadley Hartmetz with two assists each.
After a scoreless first period, the teams combined for four goals in the middle frame, with the Eagles holding the 3-1 lead at the second intermission thanks to two goals from Roy and one from Willow Corson.
