CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College rowing team and first-year head coach Grace Hollowell released its 2019 fall schedule this week. The Eagles's first of four races is October 12 at the Head of the Housatonic in New Haven, Conn.
The annual highlight of the fall slate is the Head of the Charles on the Charles River in Boston. The regatta is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20. Last year, BC raced three boats on its home course in the 54th Head of the Charles Regatta; the largest two-day regatta in the world.
