CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- In basketball, there are certain things that team will inevitably have trouble overcoming.
No matter how strong a game a team plays, it is hard to overcome letting a team shoot 72.7% from the field in a half. It is hard overcoming 27 foul shots allowed when only generating seven chance from the line.
Despite a late Boston College Eagles comeback attempt, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were able to weather the storm and defeat the Eagles 76-71 in front of 4,148 at Conte Forum Saturday afternoon.
"Obviously in the first half we did a really poor job with one-on-one defense, especially inside," BC coach Jim Christian said.
