On Wednesday night, the Boston College men’s basketball team traveled across the country to play against Stanford in one of their last remaining games of the 2024-25 season, sitting on the absolute brink of elimination from the ACC tournament. The Eagles were never quite able to find an offensive spark after the long travel, falling 78-60 to Stanford, breaking their two-game winning streak and falling even further away from the postseason.
The first half was completely marred by long scoreless droughts for Boston College. They started out with an almost seven minute stretch from 17:09 to 10:30 in which the Eagles scored only 2 total points.
