Off Jerome Robinson’s 22 points, the Boston College Eagles survived a second half push by the Stony Brook Seawolves, and defeated Stony Brook 82-75 off a strong first half by the Eagles.
Robinson shot 8-for-17 from the field, and along with strong offensive performances by Nik Popovic and AJ Turner, the Eagles were able to hold off a scare by the Seawolves late.
The Eagles opened up the first half strong, leading by as much as 23 during the half, and went into the locker room up 16.
However, a 45 point effort by the Seawolves put the game in question and pushed the scoring margin to as little as four before Eagles were ultimately able to hold off the Seawolves, who simply ran out of time.
