After Boston College lost to Nicholls State Friday evening, doubts began to creep around the fanbase. After the hype going into the season, the question of whether the Eagles would be as good as advertised after getting upset by Nicholls State began to be seriously raised.
Jerome Robinson and the Eagles put the doubts to rest, at least for now, as the Eagles go wire to wire against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks 73-57 in Chestnut Hill.
Jerome Robinson led the way for the Eagles with 16 points, on a 6-for-16 night.
The Eagles, after allowing the Hawks to tie the game at five early in the first, went on a 17-4 run over the next 4:50 to take a commanding lead that BC would not relinquish the rest of the night.
