On Tuesday night, the Boston College men’s basketball team matched up with the Boise State Broncos for the championship of the the Cayman Islands Classic. Both teams had escaped the semifinals with very close wins and were looking to take home the trophy tonight after drama once again ratcheted up late. But it was Boston College who came away victorious in this one, winning 63-61 in dramatic fashion.
The game was back and forth the entire way, with BC and BSU trading leads several times throughout the game. The Broncos did control the score for a few long stretches, though, including midway through the second half when BC could only muster five points in five minutes of gameplay.
