CHESTNUT HILL and NEWTON, Mass. – Seventeen returners and 13 new faces hit the pitch on Wednesday as the Boston College men's soccer team began preparations for the 2018 season with its first day of preseason practice.
The 30-man roster for the Eagles is the largest in the program's Atlantic Coast Conference era (BC began ACC play in 2005). The team will have training sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before scrimmaging the University of Massachusetts on Sunday.

The team kicked off the 2018 preseason with fitness testing during the morning session…in between the morning and evening practice periods, the squad headed back to campus for the all-important photo shoot along with a team meeting…the evening session gave way to the team playing a full field, 11-vs-11 game.
