I don't know if BC can play the respect card much longer, because the betting public is clearly on the bandwagon. After opening as high as a nine-point favorite late Saturday night, the point spread for Friday's game between BC and Florida State has moved down to the 'Noles only favored by 2.5. Swings like that are not good for the sports books, since smart bettors can now hedge and leverage the swing in the spread.
The public is probably buying into the momentum aspect of the matchup and BC being at home. ESPN's Power Rankings still have Florida State as a likely winner.
