The win snapped a four-game slide for the Eagles, who improved to 13-11 overall and 4-9 in the ACC, while the Hokies dropped to 13-9 and 9-7.
BC jumped out to a 6-0 lead with a run in the first, three in the second and two in the third. Staked to the early lead, junior right-handed pitcher Mason Pelio (San Diego, Calif.) turned in his longest outing of the season at 6.
