PROVIDENCE, R.I. – scored in the 81st minute to pull the Boston College women's soccer team even with Providence College, as the Eagles battled the Friars to a 1-1 tie on Thursday night at Chapey Field.
Providence took a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute and held that edge through halftime. Smith then put home her team-leading fifth goal of the season and 50th career point in the 81st minute to give the game the 1-1 final.
